It's a good idea to swap accessories to Thief's Cuff when stealing to increase our chance at getting rare drops, along with creating the possibility of swiping items from the different loot tiers. Stealing from enemies will result in different rewards than in the normal game. When it comes to Stealing items, it's better to steal manually than use a Gambit. A few Trials will have allies present who will assist the party, just like with some Clan Hunts.Īlso, if a special effect was applied to the party during the boss fight in the main game, that effect will be present during Trial Mode. They also sometimes have exceptional gear that is worth stealing. These optional enemies are usually tougher than the enemies that are required to be killed.
These optional enemies can sometimes be hidden and need prerequisites to uncover them. All Trials have targets that you must defeat, some Trials have optional enemies that can be killed as well. Trials will progress through a variety of small environments. You'll know which Trial you're on by looking at the top right corner of your screen. Trial Mode will autosave after every Trial, and you will have a manual save opportunity every ten Trials.
